Wow. A million and one excuses will come up in order to try to stop you from doing what's good for you. In today's case- the rain. The rain made me feel too lazy to go get the rope, so I ordered it on Amazon, but then all of a sudden got stressed thinking if I missed the delivery, I would be very upset.
So I biked to Shibuya in the rain thinking this is exactly the kind of behavior/effect the PCP is supposed to have on you- it pushes you forward and gets you up off your behind, regardless of all the external factors!
In the end, I did pick up a rope, but by then it was time to pick up my daughter at her nursery, and start the whole evening routine: dinner, bath, story time, then to bed. Of all nights, she chose tonight to challenge what time she should go to bed, so I ended up doing the exercises at 10:30.
Well, at least I did what I was supposed to do on Day 1!
I was going to write about the half portions, but let's see how I feel about that tomorrow.
..So far, so good!
Hey Akiko - nice to make your acquaintance. I'm in your group for the PCP. The rain is also an obstacle for me.. it's literally impossible for me to do the skipping exercises inside due to the size of my apartment. But I made up my mind - come rain or shine, the skipping will be done outside! As you say, the PCP pushes us to go further than we normally would to obtain our goals. I look forward to supporting you throughout the remainder of the 90 days. All the best. Paul
